Find The Right Putter Style for Your Stroke
by Erin Menath, GolfTEC
All too often I have clients that come in for a putting lesson complaining about their inability to drop the ball in the cup. They may be consistently leaving the ball left, right, short or far beyond the cup... Read more »
The Gate Drill
by Patrick Nuber, GolfTEC

Putting well is key to shooting lower scores on the golf course, and putting well comes from consistent speed control on the greens. This speed consistency results largely from striking the ball... Watch video »

Understand Putting Speed to Make More Putts
by Steve Lippincott, GolfTEC
Speed in putting is often the most critical element to making more putts, and once you have the correct speed you must match it properly with the correct line. We typically rank speed over line... Read more »

Tee Talk   The Chore of Putting
by Jeff Thoreson
A friend says putting is fun. I suppose it is, if you broaden your definition of fun. So now I consider it fun to stub my pinky toe on the coffee table leg. The next time I have to cross an asphalt parking lot in bare feet on a hot August day, I'll savor the pleasure. Read more »
Adios to Anchoring Putts
by Megan Coghlan
In 2012, the USGA and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club announced it would be proposing a major change to the Rules of Golf that would outlaw a putting stroke that they worried was taking skill out of the game: anchor putting. Read more »

Pro Spotlight
Lydia Ko, Pro since 2013
Member Spotlight   At only 18 years old, Lydia Ko recently won the Evian Championship and became the youngest major champion in LPGA Tour History. In 2013, she proved herself worthy of a special exemption to enter the tour before age 18 with a CN Canadian Women’s Open victory. It didn’t take long after that for Ko to become the LPGA’s youngest millionaire. Ko was born in Seoul, South Korea but moved with her family to New Zealand as a child, and still maintains her allegiance to her Kiwi homeland. In her two years as a pro, she has earned herself 34 career top 10’s and 9 victories. Ko is already a storied golfer, but is well on her way to winning even more and inspiring all to #playbettergolf!

Washington Golf Club in New Hampshire celebrates its 100th birthday this year. As autumn approaches, if you’re one to combine golf drives with drives that reveal the splendor of the season, Mt. Washington is as good a place as any to start.
